Do they have the key pattern on the outside of the lug or is it inset into the face with a squibbly line? The flat face with the squibbly line is what you want. Otherwise guys can hammer an 18mm over the others and get those suckers right off!

With me being at my parents caring for them most of the last 2.5 years, it's been open season at the farm in south Ga., even with one of the three of us who own it living there.

We've had two outboards stolen right off the boat, the winch off an ATV and all of my buddies fishing equipment. All right out of a locked barn. They've done everything from use bolt cutters on the lock, to cutting a hole in the back will with what we guess was a battery powered sawzall.

Now don't take this the wrong way, but we NEVER had any issues like this before the flood of migrant farm workers started coming into the area in swarms...

Ya, we had a neighbour that got robbed. His shed was locked right up so they removed the screws from the side steel, knocked out the studs and stole his trailer with atvs on it. Likely a bunch of drug addicts. Hope you find the ***** that stole it.

At $400-500.00 for a new bumper assym....I can believe it.

I'm on my second new bumper. The first from being rear-ended by another car and the second for not paying attention and backing into a low concrete mailbox in my blind spot. I paid $200 for the first one used, but I wasn't able to find a good used one for the second one I just replaced.

These things are fairly easy to remove. People are bold these days.

Completely agree with the broad day light robberies being the easiest. In a neighborhood most people go to work during the day, others go to work at night and will be sleeping during the day, so there really is not a whole lot of people around.

Second problem is with the way neighbors act now compared to even just 10 years ago. Nobody takes the time to get to know the people they live next to. If they do, it is usually just the people immediatly on their left, right, and straight across.

The more people in your neighborhood you get to know well, the more people that will be able to spot someone who doesn't live in your house doing something. And you will also be able to return that favor as well.

Sorry about the bumper man. Had the hubs on my Ford stolen in an Arena parking lot during a hockey game once. 10,000 cars, and there go my hubs.

People will steal anything. Years ago, I went to get in my old F100 after work, hit the key and nothing. I worked in a body shop, so went in and got the jump box and a guy I work with. He hooks up the jumper and says "ok, try it", I do and nothing. Then all of a sudden, he yells, "Dude, someone stole your starter!". He saw the wires hanging down...............unbelievable.
