Is it more of a creaking noise or a chirp?
Chirping is most likely U-Joints if its only audible at low speeds

I might have the same issue as you do and have traced it back to my rear suspension. Haven't identified if it's the shocks or the leaf springs but will most likely upgrade both cause I tow a boat.

Lube all the sliding surfaces on and between the rear springs. If you back the rear of the truck into the lake use white Lubriplate lower unit grease (for outboard motors). It is fairly waterproof and will stop the squeaks.

If it makes a metalic chirping or clanging noise when you change between first and reverse then it's your UJ's

That could be a number of things. Really need more info like an area it seems to be coming from, if it is worse when cold....

I had probably the same noise on my ram as you do back when I upgraded to a rough country 3 inch spindle lift. with new u bolts around the leaf springs and the new block in place. never checked for torque requirements but they gotta be tight. even after impact wrench I had to use a galvanized chain link pole; bout 5 feet long, on handle of socket wrench to give it a snug fit lol. torque on it now is probably massive with the leverage applied but that same noise you speak of, went bye bye.

Ya I think its my U-joints . When its real cold outside when i shift from Park to reverse i hear a creak noise and then again from reverse to Drive it does it again. Would greasing them up save them or should i just get them replaced? thanks
