Best throttle body spacer??
The taurus fan can cool a hemi on it's low speed and it's a 2 speed fan, don't worry if installed right it will keep your truck cool. Search for e-fan in the 3rd gen section and you will find plenty of guys running the taurus fan on v-8's.

You want the fan out of a Taurus with the 3.8 engine, that is the good one that flows the amount of air the Hemi will need to stay cool.
What controllers are available? I know about the Delta Current Control FK-35 but it's too much money. I'd like to be able to set the thing just after the rad pressure comes up. To keep the fan from coming on at higher speeds when ambient airflow will do the job.
Here is the one that I run. It has a soft start so there isn't a hard draw on the electrical system when the fan starts up, adjustable thermostat so you can set whatever temp you want it to start running the fan at, can be set to go on with the ac or with a switch if you want, and extended run time so that the fan is left on for a set amount of time after the truck is shut off. It only costs $110 so it is well within your budget and it handles the Taurus fan just fine.

You can do it for $130 or less w/ the parts listed from the fordmuscle link, and the 75 amp relay will keep the cheaper controller from getting cooked.
What about this one?

It's rated for 25A and has a 30/40A relay.

That looks very similar to the Hayden/Imperial controller that I used. You can pick it up at pepboys if you have one locally or order from amazon, but I think you will still need a bigger external relay for the fan startup.
