Default Scratches and scraps

Just got back from fishing up on Jones Lake south of Hope, and noticed the right side of me truck all scratched from the brush.
Should i wait till summer's over before i touch it up, or do ya think i need to tackle it right away? Try'd taken pics with my crap camera to show ya-but it didn't show. I just don't want you guys blacklisting me for poor cosmetically pleasing ride.

scratches from brush shouldn't need touch up paint. That needs compound and a buffer or some claybar.
Why wait? unless you plan on doing it again.

I say just buff it out. But if its that bad, don't go that route again unless you take some hedge trimmers or you have a friends ford.

A good rule of thumb is if a scratch is not deep enough to catch your fingernail, then it can be buffed out.

+1 - or an older dodge that a few new scrapes wont make a difference.

+1 on compound and claybar as well

f*ck it, it's a truck, it's supposed to have scratches, gives character. Mine looks like hell up close with all the small scratches from hunting and fishing.

I got a hell of a one on the Jeep from my last camping trip, when a bear tried to get to my grill which was stored in a topper. Leaving that one there too...

No way Hammer. My truck has one itty bitty mark on the paint. It's on the tailgate on the edge. It's about as big as a pen tip...lmao Not one scratch or ding otherwise!

our's is banged and scratched too. Between spending days upon weeks at the airport lot, and living in parking lots at hospitals, there aint's a clean panel on it up close.
