I agree with the placement of the bulbs. Like I said, we need resistors to keep the Lamp Out from coming on and we all know you need the relay to stop the flickering and strobing. If these kits do not come with that then you already know you will have issues.

Drivers side

Passengers side

Xfeejayx, can you post a pic of what all came in your kit?

[EDIT] On the first page of this thread there is a link, if you look in that link at post #2 you will find this picture below and this looks no more different than all the other basic HID kits for sell everywhere else. Now mind you IDK if there is any QA/QC difference but physically they are the same. Thats why Chad and Tim (??) supply resistors and relays in thier kits.

That image is pretty much exactly what came in the kit. I knew there would be trouble as soon as I saw the 35W ballast.

Thought they might have incorporated something into the ballast or harness that has what we need. Thought wrong. Also, no instructions were included at all. Not that you need them, but if you aren't mechanically/electronically inclined you might want to ask for instructions.

And the adhesive pads are likely worthless. I didn't even bother trying them because the surface I would mount them to on the truck is so dirty I'd never be able to get it clean enough to stick something to, especially not something as heavy as a ballast. Get yourself some zip ties before doing this.

Yeah, i would advise everyone to hold off until xfeejayx and myself get everything sorted out. My truck takes the h13 bulb however i have not even got to test fit it yet as one of the bulb housings came to me broken. It was probably from shipping but even so, I got the regular kit so the second bulbs are halogens.... One of them was a regular clear bulb and the other was "hyper white" blue tinted?.... Needless to say, I have to get another new harness including the bulb because it was broken. I will say however that customer service communication has been very good. We just need to sort through the issues. I did place my order before she stated we needed to put year/make/model so I did not get relay but she shipped it next day (yesterday) and i was able to get her to ship everything else i needed as well. We will see what happens when the package arrives, I think it will be tomorrow. Again, I would like to say that customer service has been really good.

I seen this as being an issue a long time back. Thats why I said I would like to see them with ears ot tabs on them so you can screw them to the frame like mine are. Admittedly, mine came with velcro. Did I use it? Sure I did but I also screwed them down so I know they are doing no where.

well mine came with some zip ties, i didnt really look at the size of them though due to the fact i was so pissed the housing came in broken . Again, I am not bashing the seller as whatever happens through transit is not their fault and the customer service has been very fast. Its just disappointing when you buy something and it comes broken. The only thing i think they should have done is maybe added a layer of bubble wrap in the box.

Normal Bulb. Not broken, regular halogen.

You can see the housing was damaged here, look at the HID bulb. Its crooked. Also the "hyper white"

Looking closely, there are plastic pieces from the housing inside there.

Hi, For those of you have ordered and a relay did not come with the kit, that was because we didn't get your cars YEAR MAKE AND MODEL on the note therefore we did not know if we needed to send you one,

if you need one, I am more than happy to send you one for free so you can get this working. PLease PM me your order # and your address
and I will get one out to you.

For those of you who are going to order, pleae always remember to supply us with your YEAR MAKE MODEL so we not only double check if you got the right bulb type, but we can make sure you get a (RELAY or SPECIAL wire) if your car needs that.

Thank you for your understanding~

Michelle
