i do drive a car back and forth lol but it just seemed to run perfect on 87 before thats all...i will try 91 octane for a rip see it it helps....if it helps that much i will stick with it....im not really saying i care to much about fuel prices but if it doesnt make any diff in performance there no reason to stay with 91...if i put in 91 octane or 89 octane with the 87 tune will it still perform better or will i not notice a difference untill i retune for 91 octane??? thanks for the input guys

you prob won't notice anything running 91 in the 87 tune because of the ecu timing. I would try the 91 tune with 91oct and see if you like it. I suppose you could try the 91 in the 87 tune afterwards?
Also, I would pour some octane booster or some Lucas Fuel injector cleaner(it's an octane booster as well) it'll clean up your injectors and also give the octane boost from goin 87oct to 91oct as you'll get some mix unless you run it down to fumes b4 you fill up.

Just another tid bit of advice, when I was running my superchip 3815, I loved the combo of the 87 tune combined with the 89 gas, gave it much more of a wakeup than the 87/87 combo and gave a bit more grunt off the line than the 87/87 but my mpg's sucked. When I switched to the 91 tune, off the line performance seemed to have suffered a little as it didn't pull as hard from a dead stop BUT the top end pulled much much harder than the 87 and my mpg's went up.

Its by far the worst vehicle ive ever had for gas usage...i work 6 days a week and i drive it hard so it sucks fuel back..thats why i have a problem driving it lol i cant keep my foot off the gas so i get no fuel economy. Mind you i dont care thats why i drive the car im never going to be easy on it so ill always use fuel if i put her on cruise at 70mph its actually pretty good. PS...and i dont mean fullll tanks i just have to fuel up that much cause i dont let her get below 1/4 tank

How much is gas up in CA right now? I know it's always been more than the states or atleast when snowmobiling season is open.
