yea i tried the whole "use the stock silicone sealant" deal, my lights looked pretty cool all fogged up like a mirror in a shower...a tube costs $4, I don't know if yalls little lights are just easier to seal but the big ones have WAY too much surface to not use another bead
And I did 250 for 10 minutes, make sure to use gloves when getting them out, and don't set them on the lens side...If your are wanting no light to shine through but it to still look like an eyelid, paint PRIMER on the inside, light dust of MATCH & CLEAR on the outside... if you're going to do it, do it right....
And I'd like to know about that trans temp gauge too...I haul so much stuff around and then my CEL keeps coming on, just for me to reset it over and over....I think maybe if I could watch the temp it would stop popping up

Use an adhesion promotor first when painting any plastic. So adhesion promotor first. Then self etching primer. Umm I did clear mine but honestly unless it hits the elements its not really needed that bad. Mine has some sparkly **** in it so it is rough looking without a clear
