Im going to be doing the gaskets tomorrow. I found that the back bolt on the drivers side one is already snapped so i have a feeling a few others might. What are the thread and pitch and size of the bolts cause im going to get all new ones and how many are on each side? And where should i get new bolts from?

Do yourself a favor 08mxkfx, put some anti-seize on those bolts before you put them on. Should you have to do this again it will make taking them off much easier. Also, don't forget to double check them after you have driven your truck. Sure is nice not having that ticking noise.

That's because your truck sits 6 feet in the air

Well i ended up blowing out my radiator yesterday so i decided to put in the new radiator and the new gasket all at once. Changed the radiator out in 30min and the manifolds came off pretty easy. The reason for the tick was cause the 2 bolts towards the back on both sides were snapped. I drilled a small hole in them and used and ez out to get them all out except the last one on the driver side. The ezout snapped in it and i cant get it out. I tried re drilling it but the way it snapped it keeps snipping the bit off the center of the bolt. I have no idea what to do now since that is the only bolt thats still stuck in. It broke a few mm in so i dont know what to do. Any help would be appreciated!

I heard that many muffler shops can do this. maybe you could call around for a tip to get the bolt out.

How about the nuts and bolts from the exhaust pipe to the manifold? Do they tend to break? Do I need to buy the factory ones from the dealer for Frickin twenty bucks, or is there a different variety I can pick up cheaper?

Do I have to take the exhaust pipe off the manifold? If I leave it on is there enough room to work around to scrape off the old gasket and put the new one one?

Thanks
