Default Exhaust

Hey yall, i got an 08 1500 ram hemi and am looking to put a different muffler only on it. Plan to leave all in place just swap out the muffler. Have been convinced to go with Aero Turbine and am trying to decide between the AT3030 or the AT3030XL. Want the truck to have a good growl to it on the gas and a nice low sound at idle, but do not want interior resonance to drive me up the wall. So was wondering if anyone had sounds of their truck in and out of this set up. All stock exhaust with just AT3030 or AT3030XL swapped in. Also any stats on these that were possibly noted by users of this product. Thanks for looking. BTW if you are on Dodge talk i am corresponding with them also. Good bunch over there highly recommended.

Here is a link to a thread I posted with 3 vid. clips of mine. It is an 06 Hemi with the AT3030XL installed with the stock resonators in place.

I've been thinking about swapping out my stock muffler with an AT3030 and leaving the rest of the exhaust stock also. I just can't make up my mind on if I want to leave the stock resonator or take it off also. I've been checking Youtube, but I've been getting kinda mixed results. Also, does anyone know where to find a good deal on an AT3030?

go with the xl, it's still growly and the resonator doesn't take away anything.

As far as your question about finding a good deal on an AT3030, I don't know if there are good deals. When I bought mine, AT3030XL, I scoured the internet for days and it seemed like the price was within $5.00 everywhere I looked. Seems kinda like its a fixed price. I just ended up buying mine from moes.

Yeah, but you don't have MDS on your truck. That's why I'm having such a time making my mind up on the resonator. I have no idea what the exhaust would sound like with the MDS engaged. MDS is the only thing holding me back from taking the same route as you minus the Y-pipe. I think if I mess with anything from the cats up I'll void me lifetime powertrain, but I'm not sure.

MDS wont be a problem if you get a tuner and disable it.

Leave the resonator with the MDS. When mine is turned on, my Magnaflow cat-back sounds like a helicopter under water when it kicks in. Embarrassing for sure.
I keep mine turned off with my Diablosport Predator unless I take it to the dealer for anything (usually just oil changes) in case there is a reflash required that pops up, I do not want them to rewrite my pcm with my tuner locked to the truck or it will become a paperweight.
