2007 4x4 5.7 Quad Ram 1500 Mods and Gas...
Looking at buying an e-fan, but don't really know what brands and when doing a general search I can't really find the years, but I keep seeing a lot on the "Flex-A-Lite" fan, is that what I should be looking for?
Also, CAI, should you replace the entire intake or just replace the basic filter.
I plan on doing these mods shortly after picking up the truck
One other thing, if I just replace the pipe in front of the muffler, the muffler, and the tail pipe, should I see an impact in HP and MPG
Most of the mods I wants to do I want only for MPG and HP improvement. I am trying to keep my truck aggressive, powerful, and as economical fuel wise as possible.
I also have an additional quesiton, I have heard that you can't run 87 octane in a HEMI, is this true, do you have to run 89, how do you know which gas stations provide the best quality of fuel. Do to EPA guidelines in the DFW area, everything is 10% ethanoal at least, is this bad? How will I need where to get the good gas?
Thanks

As for the fan, here is a link http://moesperformance.com/index.php...products_id=15
As for the CAI, I use a K&N drop in replacement filter and an Airaid MIT tube to eliminate the resonator
You should see improvements in both HP and MPG with a good cat-back system.
I use the Magnaflow #16700 from www.performancepeddler.com. Make an offer of around $400 and see what you get
