Alright cool, any idea what the normal engine operating temp should be at or around?

 

Are you running a 180 thermostat? Mine stays between 170 and 200.

 

Nope not yet, mine is stock for now.

 

if you want to double check your temps, go buy the gauge, and adapters you need to plug it into the test port. get under the truck and plug it in down there with gauge and all. secure it real good. drive around for a while, and check the temps. then clean it up real nice like and return it for a refund.

 

Well.... no converter yet ... Even though the guy from APS promised me up and down that it would be here by today he just couldn't come through with it on time. Im a little pissed, but whatever, it will be here mid week next week according to him so next weekend it'll all get put on.

AND IF ITS NOT (no tracking number as of yet ).... I'll be taking a weekend trip to cali to find out what the hell is going on with it. So if it comes down to that anyone in or near the Saratoga Ca. area want to join me for a little linch mob action?

 

Did you at least get in touch with him? I know you saw the thread where there was a guy talking about how he wasn't even able to get through to him at all.

 

Yeah I have talked to him a few times, once when I ordered the converter back on the 16th and a few times this week trying to get some information out of him since he charged me but never sent me anything confirming the order or tracking info. I was getting a little frustrated since I was told it be here yesterday and it never came so I went hunting for some info on if he was still legit. It sounds like he is though since he finally sent me an email saying it will be here next week mid week. Now if he can just send a damn tracking number I'll be happy (or the right part, that will be fine too I guess).

 

Well After being told my converter would be here this week by today at the latest.... guess what, its not. I was a littles pissed to say the least when I got home today and found nothing waiting for me at my door...Gave the guy a call again... He gave me a few lines of bullsh*t about this past week and the crap he's been dealing with... but I made him give me my tracking order and he finally did it this time...

So the good news is that it was shipped, the bad news is that it was JUST SHIPPED THIS MONDAY!!!! The liar told me he had shipped it already when I called him last Friday and then sent me an email saying it be here by today!!! According to the tracking info, it was sent on the 27th and wont be here until the 4th, so next Tuesday.

All I have to say is that this had better be worth it, everyone I have talked to that has one has said that it has been by far one of the best mods they have done so I really REALLY hope that is the case. And to complete my frustration on the issue there may be a chance that my installer wont be able to do it next weekend so that may put it off for another 2 weeks... I need to go have a drink and calm down a bit...

 

I can't believe that he told you it shipped when it really didn't. That is the kind of stuff that I really can't stand. Hope you are able to get it in soon, I am anxious to hear how it performs for you.

 

Oh I know I was pissed when I looked it up and saw that it was shipped on the 27th instead of last week like he said it did... No excuse for that. But now that I have a tracking number im happy, pissed that it cant go in tomorrow but happy that I can see it was shipped and when it should get here. I just hope that it does what its suppose to and knock off quite a bit of loss off the drivetrain which after reading reviews it really does...
