OK, need a little help here.
I just installed a McGauphys 2/4 drop on my '06. (spindles up front)
I took it to get aligned and they said they had a hard time setting the caster correctly. they said I needed eccentric bolts for the upper control arms to be adjusted? From what I have read, the uca is supposed to remain stationary and the lower is the one that should be adjusted accordingly.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does this guy know what he is talking about? I went with the spindles instead of springs so I wouldn't have any alignment issues.
Thanks

There is a lot of information in this thread, use the search function using "adjusters" and you will see most of it. I used adjusters and solved both a slight rubbing problem and alignment. And yes spindle drop keeps the suspension close to factory spec. Good luck.

I installed the same kit on my 07 1500 a couple months ago. I even drove it for a couple weeks on the old rubber and without an alignment before taking it in. I have a good alignment and tire shop that we use often at my body shop with customers cars. They installed new tires and aligned it no problem. I got a copy of the alignment spec sheet and everything is good, the steering wheel is straight and it doesn't pull. I would check with another shop before putting parts in.
