Lowered Trucks: tech and info....

What's up guys. I've been leaving threads everywhere and i cant get the right instructions nor pics to finish my 2"drop. this is my situation i deleted o/l leaf and installed shackel. But when i I'm trying to put leaf/s pack on the diff. The tit and the guide pin to keep the pack in line wont fall in those holes on the diff. Now, keep in mind i can only lift truck one side at a time.
I only have one side apart right now. And when i deleted the o/l leaf spring everything is longer now. I need help really bad i can't use my truck and i need it. If someone can explain it to me in detail i would appreciated so much. Or if any body lives close to Austin, TX and can swing by if they have time that would be even better.

my advice is take it apart, install shackle to the leaf cluster, put the leaf clust back into the bracket and tighten the pin bolt, then attach the axle to the cluster of springs, make sure everything is aligned perfect and tight....this def a 2 jack process....hit me on yahoo if you need more help...

Hello,
New here and was thinking of either a 2" shackle drop in the rear or a McGaughy's 2/4 drop kit.
I just purchased a 2008 4x4 and was wondering which one would cause the least hassle in ride comfort.
I have searched and read through most of the posts here now I'm at the point of confusion.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Shawn

Hey Jusjay how r u doing man i wanted to say thanks for tips. i got everything back together again. What i ended up doing was just cutting that crimp pin with a dremmel and that solved the hole problem.
Thanks a hole lot. But like u guys say here, once u go low your going to want lower lol.
