Lowered Trucks: tech and info....
seriously like 20 mins...it takes as long to set up as it does to remove and replace its the process of removing the overload spring that takes the longest now mine doesnt sit perfectly level but damn close and when i throw the quad in the back it doesnt squat like i thought it might with out the o/l leaf awesome mod for me anyway because i still use the bed and tow...now if i didnt do that stuff or i had a jeep or something to haul my quads id slam it right out the box 5/7 if not bagged.....
all you need is a rachet a t55 socket and a adjustable wrench and some jackstands and a jack maybe some grease it easy man .....
piece of cake silver i know you can do it and ive never worked with you persay but with the amount ive read youve done **** man **** its jack it up to take weight off and pull 4 bolts and shackle and reverse operation to install drive hit some bumps to make it settle and a week later double check to make sure all is tight... real easy
so can you give us newbies some details on what you used etc... i want to keep as close to possible the stock ride, its bad enough where i live. and i want to keep it as cheap as possible with-out being cheap. if you know what i mean, i wont make a mod if i can not do it right. thanks
anyone with a decent tool collection and common sense can install a drop or just shackles (right Jay? lol) i had no idea how to install my drop, no instructions either i just went for it... all the brackets, bolts, shackles etc will only fit together one way, so its fairly easy. took me 4 hours in my driveway.
i couldnt agree more tuned93 ive done so much slammin in my driveway from hyraulics in lowriders to complete drops on trucks to stereo comps its all how you trust yourself and your buddies ....
