I do got one more question, I know I heard somewhere that if I wanted a full 5 inch drop in the back I could do it with this kit, but I can't remember if they said I had to use the stock shackle or how it was supposed to be done. I know I want my truck as low and EVEN as possible. I only got drop springs for the front. So, Only a two inch drop up there.

well the rear is 2 inches higher stock so a 2/5 would have you aiming up in the front. i dont think you would notice it too much but oncoming traffic would at night

So, would a 4.5 in drop in the back make me level? Or just the regular 2/4 drop? I got two notches on these new drop shackles. I'm guessing they are about an inch apart.

the red things are your new bumpstops. you will have to take your olds ones off. grind the metal cups off the front. my shackles have 2 holes too. im in the top one. lower one. i guess that would explain why i get brighted all the time. but i flip on my brights and my hellas that are aimed with the brights to fill and they alway turn theirs off real quick.

Great!! Where the heck are the bumpstops located? LOL. Man, I never knew I was this ignorant when it came to mechanical stuff, but then again I never messed with suspension stuff either. I'm pretty good with everything else. This give me a headache. LOL.

Oklahemi, maybe I should've made the trek up there after all. LOL.

they are pretty easy to find. the front sits in a little cup on the lower control arm that you will have to grind off. they are rubber pieces attached to your frame to soften the blow. i think the stock one hang down like 3 or 4". the rear are mounted to the frame above the axel. here i have pics from when i first got it

Ok, so the factory bump stops I'm guessing are too long?

These new ones, will they have to be welded on, since I'm grinding off the factory ones?

Oklahemi, I'm just gonna make the d*mn trek up to you. Either that, or send you the gas money, and have you come down my way. LOL. I got no one here who has a d*mn clue. So now that I know, I got to teach the guy who's helping me how to do it as well. LOL.

That's true. I had a rough idea of how to install the kit, just couldn't picture it in my head. But now, since and Ken have provided me with good pics, installing this b*tch this saturday shouldn't be that big of a deal. LOL.

We shall see.........
