Lowered Trucks: tech and info....
As soon as I find my tape measure I'll post em up. But, just eye ballin it, it appears to be around 24-28 inches. IDK, like I said I'll post it up as soon as I find the darn tape.
man i got 36" front and 36.5" in the back im not sure im on perfectly level ground either so whats the point im the highest in the lowered club is that what your getting at trying to make me feel bad? or embarrass me.....j/k
Hey, I had found a McGaughy 2/4.5 kit for $345 before shipping, but it is a regular cab kit. The quad cab which I have is $429 before shipping. What make these kits any different? The regular cab kit states it gets 4.5 in back when the quad gets 4in in back, but whatever.
not trying to embarrass anyone, i was just getting an idea of whos truck sits lower (or in your case) higher haha. nah, i just wanna use my truck as a base to see what other trucks stances would look like in person. as for the drop kit, i think the difference is that the quad cab and the standard cab dont sit the same from the factory, one is higher up than the other. i just dont know which one off the top of my head. (thats just my guess)
Probably correct, I'm not seeing what kit I get(2dr vs. 4dr) being so different that it poses a problem, but I could be wrong. Just don't want to pay $100 more if I don't have to, just because it states 4dr it seems the flip kit and coils would be the same.
well itd be a different set of springs i would guess cause the qc is heavier than a sc...right....the rear i would imagine it being the same....unless its sizes of components.....edit did some research and called a buddy its the springs for sure weight is def a factor.....
Ok, now from what I remember you asked me to measure from the center of my wheel up to the lip of the wheel well. Right? If so, I'm sportin a 18.5". Ha. I have a feelin no one believes me, so I will post pics this weekend. Hopefully.
