Obviously this costs more than he's wanting to spend. But isn't a lower drop, on a 4X4, possible with bags? I thought I seen a 4X4 on bags on YouTube that was slammed.

On a side note, a guy in my truck club found an awesome deal on bags for his Ram. It's only gonna cost HIM 2K. He found a guy that does it in his spare time. The guys truck was a Quad Cab Ram fully layed out. He said when he looked under it, that it looked like really good custom work. Meanwhile another guy, in the club, is having his Ram bagged. It's costing him 6500. I guess it's all about who you know..........

6500 is about a right price for everything. (to lay frame and all) if that guys doin dude's truck for 2G's than thats hecka good. you can get the bag kit for round 1600, so he's only paying roughly 400 for labor. even better if there's a body drop somewhere in the deal. as for the 4x4 thing... (if it were me) i wouldnt even waste my time. you wont get enough drop to be happy with it, and besides... its a 4x4, use it like a 4x4, lift it, go off roading! there's nothing wrong with it. (technically )

if some one doesn't mind buying a used kit you could piece a kit together for pretty cheap right now
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-inc...Q5fAccessories

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-08...Q5fAccessories

the are both mcgaughy brand.

here is the kit using the spring up front.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-05...Q5fAccessories

here is the delux kit w/ spindles up front. it is supposed to give you the best ride quality. but you have to have 18" + wheels
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/06-08...Q5fAccessories

there was a guy that had a brand new set of mcgaughy drop spndles on cl he was trying to unload for around 250.00 if any one is interested i could check w/ him and see if he still has them.

Hey guys let me ask your opinions on this. After making a few calls and looking a few things up I have a really tough choice. I can get a DJM 2/4 kit with the drop coils up front for $350, 2/4 kit with the lower control arms for $550, or after talking with one of the guys on another forum, he will give me his 2" (1.5") drop shackels and stock front coils which we can cut a 1/4 - 1/2 a link out of for free.

All 3 of the options will give me the look I want...
