and or you could do the o/l leaf delete and acheive a nice stance...my question is the 1/4 coil? i dont know if you cando that.... the djm w/ drop coils would be all you need for your set up your not going lower so i woulnt think you would need the setup with new c-arms 350 sounds to be a good price.....w or w/o shipping?

Thats free shipping. I have heard though that you get a better ride with the lower control arms than you do with the drop coils. As for cutting the stock coils if it works it works if not I throw the stock ones back in and we're good.

very true but how long will it take to realize i thought i heard you say you were getting new tires right....and you got a stance like i got if you use the stock coils...c-arms is up to you i guess do they come with prothane or polyurethene bushings id replace them too cause why not if you got it all apart.... then def alignment after...too

i say if your gonna do it... do it right. my first choice would be the control arms. second would be the drop kit with springs, and last i would do the cut springs. IMO

Well the guy that will be helping me with it says that if I dont like the stance after everything is on we can put it all back to stock and call it good. Either way I need to get it aligned, even if I leave it stock I need to take it down for an alignment soon anyways.

As for tires, well I got to wait a little longer on them probably a christmas present but I gotta find out if they will give me the deal that one of the guys down there said he would (4 new tires for the price of the warranty and rims full price)

i think in your case you should just do a 2/4 drop with spindles. its not too low, it would look good, and you wouldnt have to worry about the camber messin up your tires. it would handle a million times better, specially with your sway bar... its pretty much your best option.

Alright well can I just order the lower control arms for the fron 2" drop and then use the shackles this guy has for the rear?

yeah, it would be a fairly noticable rake. spindles would make a huge difference on the front. but as for the drop shackles it would only lower it about 1.75''. if you did what jason did and took out your overload leaf, it would prolly bring the rear down a bit thus acheiving the raked stance you want.

Well at first I was only looking to do a 2/2 drop so it be lower and keep the rake it has now which I like, and the spindles should only drop it 2" so if I got the 2" shackles it shouldn't be a huge difference I would think.

Ok, I have a '08 QC big horn and I want to lower this thing. I wanted a 2/4 since the tires measure a wopping 32.7in tall. Now, I'll be needing tires before long so I don't see why I can't just go lower. I haven't seen pics of anything lower than 2/4 with stock tires, so I'm not really sure what I want lol. How small of a tire could I go before it affects things to much, like mileage, and gas mileage? I think this Big Horn would look good lowered a bit and the Big Horn 20's. I found a price on a 2/4 for $380 shipped but forgot where, but if I go 3/5, or 4/6 I'm not sure what's the cheaper kit and how it will look. Anybody have pics of a lower kit? This will be for Christmas so a cheap kit would be great, I can always upgrade parts if need be.
