Not as long as there is no actual crime being photographed. N good luck on finding a cop who will be willing. Cops in general are very skeptical people. N if someone came up to me n wanted to "stage" a photo with me n my car in it, I would probably tase him n take him to the looney bin at the nearest hospital. LOL. No, I wouldn't actually tase him. But I would take him to the Mental ward at the nearest hospital. LOL. We can do that.

If you know a cop personally, then I would say as long as we was willing it'd be ok. However, n I can't stress this enough, photoshop his face out of the pic as well as his unit number on his car. I wouldn't want bad press to come from this pic if it were me. "Brass" might not think it was a good idea to do something like this with a "civi".

All I'm saying is be careful how you promote the idea. It may be a good thing, may be a bad thing. Some departments will give you a "level" for doing something like that. You may think it's harmless as a "civi" but, you never can tell with "brass" how they're gonna take it. N, we ALL hate "I.A.D.".

 

no i just wast a pic of my truck in front of his w/ lights on, no faces and then the skitzy one. i want him to get im my truck while it is in front of his car lights still on, windows up of course, and do a burn out so i can get the pic of the smoke so i can make a motivation poster that says Yeah It's Got a HEMI. and hang it in my garage. i have 7 cops in my hood now and they are all pretty cool and now how i am. i don't have a problem asking i just dont want any trouble for anyone. im on the hoa with 3 of them

 

Well, in that case, if they're cool with it. THen go for it. Just photo shop my truck in one of the pics and send it to me. LOL. Just try not to get any rubber on his patrol unit. It's kinda hard to get off. LOL.

 

damn you shoulda had this idea 2 months ago and i coulda set it up for you my fiances dad is leo and retired to a sro and he drives a school police car now....i might be able to get one of his buddies to do it....i dunno tho

my buddy is a cop and he said he'd do it no problem... we just havent got around to takin the shots.

Does anyone have the instructions for McGaughy's 2/4.5" drop kit? I got the kit used and the guy didn't have any instructions. It is the spindle kit for the front. Please!!

I got mine through McGauphys and they were amazing!!! i had the same issue (no instructions) i contacted them via phone and Sarah emailed them to me while i was on the phone with her. Didnt even end up using them lol as i had it professionally installed
