But how much does the frount wheels camber in the frount on the 2-4? Is it very noticeable to the eye?

Im asking cuz I dont like doing things half assed but $500 differnce in price is a big differnce!! lol times are rough and that $500 can be a tuner and something els for that matter.

Thanks
Depends on which "style" your going for. If your from the east coast, like I was, then you're looking to do a "pro street" style'd truck. If that's the case go for a 4/6 kit. You DON'T have to notch the frame, if you're sensible about your daily driving. I have a 6 inch drop in the back of my ram, without a notch. I don't bottom out too often. Unless I'm just plain acting dumb, and deserve it. Either way you're getting more use out of a 4/6 kit, and won't have any eternal mods done to your truck, like a notched frame. I'm going for that "Pro Street" style, so my truck is actually gonna require a 6/8 drop and a notched frame and a whole mess of other shiz. But, number one thing to remember is......IT'S YOUR TRUCK!!!! Don't let anyone else tell you what to do. If you do and it's NOT what you want, you're gonna be STUCK LIKE CHUCK!!!! Just a friendly word to a "Lowered Class" Prospect! LOL.

What is the down size of leveling? I have a 2002 1500. I would like to level out the back-end, but keep the ride nice, I travel alot and do not like hard rides.
also I was thinking of putting 20 in rims. would I have enough room after leveling?

Spindles would retain the stock spring lift and if you want to be more specialized, maybe drag shocks and a lighter than stock spring to really get things moving. Just thinking out loud..
Good luck with it and post some times when you get a chance.
Thank you very much that was a big help!!! I didnt know that about truck. I have an AWD evo running 9s in the 1/4 and the best setup for it is to have it lower in the frount for less lift in the frount witch gets better traction. Its a hole nother ball game in the truck!! I appreciate the help!!

Ya i would love to do a 4-6 drop on it but my biggest concerns is tracktion cuz im trying to make the truck setup for 1/4 mile racing ... That and i still have to tow my race car and boat and with the 4-6 the truck will deffenitly be way to low for towing ... what size rims are you going to have with your 6-8 drop?? 20s??

Default Truck getting a custom paint job!!!

What's up guys I don't remember much about this Forum and how to put my Signature a picture but let me explain... I bought an 03 ram from my cousin because he bought an Srt-10 (lucky him) but he has sitting there for a while before i bought her so the paint was all messed up.. 2 weeks ago i was driving to a cousins when a car backed up into me.. so now im getting a new paint job all around!! I'm getting a new srt-10 front bumper installed QB dark blue HIDS, Custom Xenon fender flares painted, Srt-10 scoop painted and so is the WHOLE TRUCK!!! I'm so freaking happy!!! I'm painting her Viper Electric Blue Metallic Pearl... Gonna look sweet with the new blue HIDS too!!
So when i get her back and get her wet sanded and buffed ill post pics... If you guys want i'll take pics of the before the wet sanding and after.. Wish me luck!!! By the way I dropped her with an eibach pro truck kit, itis gonna look sick with the fender flares and dropped

yeah get some pics up and join the lower class club. to put a pic in you sig just upload them to photobucket and copy and paste the (img) code into the sig box. you dont have to do all the pic resizing and crap or use the sig pic box at the bottom. just paste it right into the box w/ your sig. that is what i do. use the same method for posting pics in the threads. double space in between them.

Well no worries there. If you're from a drag racing background then I'm sure you're familiar with a "4-link" rear suspension setup. Just do that if you're THAT worried about hooking up. However I don't all that is even necessary. When you drop a truck you lower the center of gravity. When you switch out your stock shocks for drop shocks, you get a much better performing shock, and stiffer. But, if you're planning on strictly drag racing your "Ram", then you picked the wrong vehicle to do that with. It's gonna take around 1200RWHP to get a 6500 pound truck down the 1/4 in the 9's. Way easier to do that with an older mustang or camaro.

However, with that being said. I'm doing the same exact thing. I'm going for a "pro street" styled ram, with some bite to go with the bark I already have.

But, good luck with your build and keep us posted on how things are going.

Side note, to everybody who may, or may not, have been worried about me. All is ok with me. I just went back to work after a 4 month leave due to an "on the job injury". N being in law enforcement tends to take a lot out of you. So, I just been really, really busy. Sorry to cause some worry around here.
