Ok i am ready to lower my truck ... But i cant decide weather or not i want to do the hole 2-4 drop with the spindles and everything or just get the springs and shackles. Im setting my truck up for 1/4 mile racing but is still daily driven and i do do some towing every so often ( nothing biger then a 1 car trailer tho with my race car that doesnt weight to much and my boat that weighs less)

But how much does the frount wheels camber in the frount on the 2-4? Is it very noticeable to the eye?

Im asking cuz I dont like doing things half assed but $500 differnce in price is a big differnce!! lol times are rough and that $500 can be a tuner and something els for that matter.

Thanks

i would just get a 2/4 with spring for your application whether its quad or single cab then you need an alignment .....

Has anyone peiced togeather a kit to have a 3in drop in the frount and a 4in in the back? I can only find hole kits with eather a 2-4 or a 3-5 ... I like the look of it sitting a little higher in the back rather then leval.

And are most of you guys running the stock shocks still??

Just throwing out an idea, but my experience with my own truck is that it really doesn't hookup consistantly and with lowering the front using springs might seriously restrict frontal lift causing even more traction loss. Pickups need all the help they can get for traction. Spindles would retain the stock spring lift and if you want to be more specialized, maybe drag shocks and a lighter than stock spring to really get things moving. Just thinking out loud..
Good luck with it and post some times when you get a chance.
