weren't u lookin for a 2500?? you're going the wrong way. a titan is 2000 lbs lighter??? I call MAJOR bull, not a chance.

and that motor is likely not exactly a truck motor. and if the titan is even 1000 lighter, where is that comin from? the frame? driveline? carbon fiber hood?

I have to question the weight thing too. My truck is a qc 4x4 with just about every option and it is still under 6000 pounds (last time I put it on the scale it was like 5900 with me in it). Which would mean that truck is under 4000 pounds? That just doesn't sound right to me.

I was going to say the same thing Nick said about the Titans. My friends dad bought one (i don't remember what year, I'm sorry) and had the transmission blow out 4 times and kept getting it replaced (it was under warranty obv). Then something else happened twice more until he finally got rid of the truck.

Ever since then I've always seen them as more of a "pretty" truck that looks nice but isn't very reliable. Plus I never really could take a TRUCK made by NISSAN very seriously anyway Hah!

However, you've said you have done your research and everything checks out, so go for it if you want buddy.

Will you still post on DODGE forums anyway? You know all of us, especially me and nick, would hate to see you go! You can be our spy to the nissan forums! LOL

not sayin i will buy it just drove it to see what it was all about and i really like what nissan did so i read up on the truck. i may buy it but i will not base my decision on one sided dodge guys coments i do my own reaserch and it all reads its beter than a hemi and a ford and a chevy??? this is from the car and driver fourms from guys that ...for there jobs test these things... if that means anything to you ....i may buy the ram still but i dunno till i drive it but all im sayin is the titan was suprisingly awesome.

Haha I'm not too one sided. I never said that what I said was correct, but gave my opinions on the truck. I also said I wasn't sure what year his dads titan was, so it could have been an earlier one, which you mentioned WERE acknowledged as having problems.

At least you're doing your research instead of just impulse buying, haha

heres an unbiased review from motor trend. also the titan is roughly 300 pounds heavier than the ram...
