coments on this new truck!!!
I dunno who told you all that BS but use the internet and look stuff up...don't just believe people especially dealers. No truck just has a 12% loss bro...automatic cars have more loss than that. Dodges loss is around 21% and the titan is closer to 18-19%. They are lighter but not by 2,000lbs...that would put in in a cars weight class. From nissan's own site for their king cab...the different weights are for the various trims:
Curb Weights (lbs)
4x2 Standard Bed 4,987 5,023 N/A 5,206
4x4 Standard Bed 5,231 5,267 5,297 5,489
4x2 Long Bed 5,275 5,294 N/A 5,490
4x4 Long Bed]
So if that titan in the pics is a 4x4 then it's pretty close in weight to a quad cab....200-300 lbs less.

Is it possible that Hammer was comparing the 2500 you were looking at to the Titan?
well RH again like I said the last time with the 2500. how often do you race your truck???? how often do you go cruising on sat night trying to race people at traffic lights??? I just dont see that being the issue here, you were wanting a truck that hauled more road more like a truck......the 2500?? You were wanting to get away from ifs werent you?? well the way I see it, it is your truck and your decision, I just hope you pick the one that you will be happy with six months from now!!
i dunno a convo on the phone with ed is a novel you just have to read every chapter there is a storry...lol i love that guy...hell at one point i gave the phone to my 5 year old daughter she missis him and his cooking LMAO
and anyway it may be the dodge i dunno till i drive the CTD
its between the hemi 2500
titan
or the 2500 CTD
now havent drove the CTD yet but with it beaing a deasil i dont no if i want that maint cost so its between the hemi 2500 or titan and so far i like the titan . all 3 will fit my needs 4 door and 4x4 so its a toss up ...hell might just keep my ram and suffer the 2 door blues lol
RH We recently had a major hail storm here in my neck of the woods and there's a guy I work with who has a white truck just like the nissan you are looking at. He says he loves the truck but in the hail storm his truck took an a$$ whoopin' from the hail. Maybe they are saving weight in the sheet metal,I dunno. At the end of the day you have to be happy with what you buy,be it a dodge, furd, nissan, whatever. If you are sitting there regretting your purchase for whatever reason then you will be truck shopping again in no time. Honestly if I had it to do over personally for my needs I would have bought a CTD 2500,but you know your needs better than all of us so go with what works and makes you happy. The novelty of getting a cheap price will fade long before your regret if you buy something you don't really want just because it was priced good.
