and that motor is likely not exactly a truck motor. and if the titan is even 1000 lighter, where is that comin from? the frame? driveline? carbon fiber hood?
it is a truck motor its a 5.6 v8
i guess the 5.7 hemi is a truck motor since it has .1 more right ????

and like i said the block is aluminum (lighter) unlike the cast of a ram (heaver)
and ist mostly aluminum threwout except the frame

that is on a pro 4x no the titan is not heavier but look at the times ram...0-60 = 7.6 the titan = 7.5 that means titan faster.

well RH again like I said the last time with the 2500. how often do you race your truck???? how often do you go cruising on sat night trying to race people at traffic lights??? I just dont see that being the issue here, you were wanting a truck that hauled more road more like a truck......the 2500?? You were wanting to get away from ifs werent you?? well the way I see it, it is your truck and your decision, I just hope you pick the one that you will be happy with six months from now!!

You're reading the site wrong RH. The curb weight of the ram is 5700. You put down the GVWR when you put down 6800.

Also, the Titan comes with 3.36 gears?

I dunno who told you all that BS but use the internet and look stuff up...don't just believe people especially dealers. No truck just has a 12% loss bro...automatic cars have more loss than that. Dodges loss is around 21% and the titan is closer to 18-19%. They are lighter but not by 2,000lbs...that would put in in a cars weight class. From nissan's own site for their king cab...the different weights are for the various trims:

Curb Weights (lbs)
4x2 Standard Bed 4,987 5,023 N/A 5,206
4x4 Standard Bed 5,231 5,267 5,297 5,489
4x2 Long Bed 5,275 5,294 N/A 5,490
4x4 Long Bed]

So if that titan in the pics is a 4x4 then it's pretty close in weight to a quad cab....200-300 lbs less.

Also, on a total side note, did anyone notice the Ford takes 9 seconds to get to 60 in that comparison. What a dog!

yea man your kinda contradicting yourself here. you say its not about racing or speed but then you bring in the 0-60 times... it doesnt matter to me what you buy bc its your decision just trying to help you get the facts right before you spend that kind of money ya know?
