I had a 1998 Dodge quad cab, 140,000 miles and many tows. Last tow I fixed it then traded it on on 2009 Laramie 4x4.

What you will get is one heck of a nice interior and you can option for power everything, sunroof, power rear window, auto lock tailgate,
500 w 10 speaker Alpine, I-pod, heated cooled seat, adj. pedals. etc etc.
Car like ride...not to sure the 2500. 1500 both axles on springs

You will be severly dissapointed with the Hemi motor..well at least I am. Others are happy. Drove a few 08's and wish I bought that year, almost did.
Have buddy with a 2007 RCSB. Far more powerful than my rated more powerful Hemi.
I am getting 16 mpg avg in a 1500. 3:92 LSD.

Its a first run truck unless you wait for 2010. Mine has been in the shop 5 times already. 5 rental cars in 7 months.

You can get muffler, tires, CAI but there is no one that will touch the ECM and the torque management (ESP) in the 2009 kills the power. Can't turn that off. Says you can but you can't.. except in some odd case 4 wheel low situation. Not sure of that.
Stock tires are no good in sand, mud or wet grass..you will get stuck.

Its a super nice truck. Big leap for dodge on the interior, hats off to them for that. Very nice looking truck too.I am just dissapointed in the sorry gas milage in a truck that can't spin is tires. Personally never have seen or felt the MDS activate, city or hwy.
Not happy with the problems I have had and still have either. heated cooled seats in mine wear out every 1000 miles or so. ECM lost things twice, forgot I had some options..like remote start and keyless entry.
Seat wear is happening to a few folks. there is a thread called "seat wear" over in 4th gen.again, heated and cooled option seats only seem to have this problem.

I like the truck you have now!

Mine is a car with a bed....then its a 1500 not a 2500. Where I live (FL) you pay taxes every year on vehicles over 6000lbs.

It just feels that way because his truck is lighter...if he's stock than your 09 hemi has more power. That doesn't mean your truck is faster it just has more power. I hear the 09+ hemi's respond really well to a tune...must be that VCT and active manifold.

Anyway I don't think RH is looking at 09's.

ok, I am going to put this out there, 04 qc hemi 5.7 2500, SLUG!!!!! my moms 3/4 ton 5.7 is slower than my old 5.2 98 dodge with the 5 speed and 3.55 gears. My 02 with the 5.9, 3.92 lsds in it absolutely walks away from the 2500, just throwing that out there. And also, there is no way my moms pickup would outhandle my half ton, whoever threw that out there ridiculously... I gotta say, that is someone who way overglorifies their towing 3/4 ton. They are nice, not supertrucks, they are built to tow and haul. I just wanted to throw that out there since I really get tired of guys saying that their 3/4 tons, just because it has 2500 on the side is automatically going to be better in every category than any half ton out there. Honestly, if you want to bring your 3/4 ton out to the rally courses with me and see who can get through it in a faster time, Ill take you in both my lifted 98 and my leveled 02, of course the 98 has the advantage of being able to kick the back end around because the 5 speed and just drift the corner, so thats a little unfair, but the 02 can definitely handle a high speed corner without breaking the tires lose ALOT better than ANY 3/4 ton I have ever been in.

BTW, I dont have anything against 2500's, they are there for their uses, I could never haul what a 2500 can, and I dont want to, but again, I get tired of hearing people over glorify their 2500s just because it says 2500.

What color is the 2500? That seems to be the only question left.

QC is the only way to go. RC's are for single guys.

Nah they're just for guys that dont want to haul around kids all day...

RH - Last time I went down to look at the new trucks, they wanted to give me $12,500 for my truck, so $15,500 for yours is a great deal.
