It's because 4X4 Flame Red Regular cabs W/Hemis are the rarest

when test driving new and used vehicles, do the dealers let you smash on the gas and pretty much test what the rides got to offer?

for the record
RC rams are for either people who need a werk truck or for ridiculously cool people who dont wanna get married right now so they can invite 2 chicks in their truck at the same time and since there is no back seat they both ride up with the driver

If you drove a RC hemi, you'd think your 2500 was your mothers mini van. I've driven both.

They do for me. I went to dealer located on the interstate to test drive an 09. At first they were going to let me just go alone, but I guess with my age the general manager didn't like that, so the dealer tagged along. I was kinda babying it, until the dealer told me to put my foot in it "a little bit". That was a mistake. I had that thing wrapped up to the 105 governor in a heartbeat, and the poor dealer was hanging on for dear life! It was funnier than hell.

RH, have you considered trying to find like an 05-07.5 2500 5.9? I know you said once before that you don't want to have a diesel because it's going to sit a lot, and that would be a concern. It won't be too bad on the 5.9 common rail because it lacks all the emissions BS that the 6.7 is coming with. That 6.7 has to be driven every single day, and driven HARD. If you don't they won't complete a regen, and they will start to run like crap, and a MIL light will come on.
And don't give me that crap about not being to able to find a 5.9 in your area. They are all over the place. Especially the 06-07.5 Rams.

I have a 06 2500 Hemi. I drove a 07 1500 with a Hemi and I liked the 2500 much more. The 1500 felt to soft to me, in turns it had a lot of body roll.

My 1500 with all the mods on it is heavier than a stock 2500, and my trucks got plenty of *****!
Towing for you is not an issue with either, both will handle what you pull without breaking a sweat.
IFS is fine until you go bigger than 35's, then it's gotta be a SFA. Again, I don't think going bigger than that is an issue for you.

So, the bottom line is how bad you need/want the quad cab vs. your regular cab.

If this is important to you, jump on the 2500!!!
