Angry Moes Performance Contact ...

Has anyone had any luck contacting Moes Performance. I ordered the Flex A Lite 180 E-Fan last Friday, given the good deal and foreseeing some spare cash in my account. Well, this weekend I ended up spending more than I wanted to on repairs for my gf's car (Oil/Filter; Trans Flush; Front Right Wheel bearing-PITA to do on your own; and Front pads). So, I decided since I hadn't gotten the fan shipped yet that I would cancel my order as needs come before wants. I went to Moes site and found no method of cancelling orders prior to shipping. This was a little odd to me, I have never had an issue with cancelling an order prior to shipping from any web site I order from, and I don't even go to malls anymore, I do all shopping online really apart from the grocery. So, I sent an email thinking it would get there in time. I also called almost every hour for two days trying to get a hold of someone. I had no such luck, I even left a message asking for them to get back to me.

Long story short, I looked this morning and the item hit my cc bill today. So, not only did I receive no phone or email call back, I essentially could not cancel my order.

I am really just venting because I had heard such good successes from other people using Moes and this was my first experience. Sad to say... it will be my last due to lack of ordering options(including cancellation) and contact options/availability.

Ive seen more than a few threads about ppl trying to call or contact them and having issues. I know when I ordered my E-cutout they were slow to ship and even then it came in two boxes on two different days. It seems they are a small business operated by a very few ppl. Almost like how a new small business would operate, a few people and not a lot of inventory on hand.

Ive never seen a cancellation button on thier page either but I assume that they cannt cancel because they dont have the item in thier possession. That means you pay them, they order the item from the manufacture and thats why they cannot cancel. Its now thier money on the line.

All i can say is keep trying to call.

It's either all good or all bad with moes. It's all good if you don't have a problem. If you do have a problem, even a small one, you are S.O.L. to get it taken care of.

I have a good experience with them and a bad experience with them. Weird....

But keep calling and they will answer the phone eventually. I left several messages and did get a call back from them a couple of days later.

The best way to deal with them is to not deal with them. I understand they may be a small company, but the customer service has to come first or there is no company at all.

Just my 2 cents...

Question

I thought??? that I read back several weeks ago on this forum that they were in the process of moving their location and that things would be slow for a while - still no excuse for not checking on their customers - but you might want to verify if they have actually moved their business location.

THis is not the first story I have heard about guys having issues with orders placed with Moe's. I personally have never had an issue myself but I guess I have just been lucky.

My only issue with them was the lack of info he sends out with the order, seems to be a common issue with the parts Ive been ordering recently.
