Default Headlamp Problem

OK so I put new headlamps in my 2002 truck. When the lights are on and I put my turn signal on my truck gives the warning sound, signal, beep or whatever and says a bulb is out. Well all the lights work and blinkers and emergency flashers all work just fine. When the lights are off like in the daytime and I use my turn signals nothing happens, like there is no lamp out signal. What could cause this and how can I stop it? Thanks for any help!

Are you sure it only comes on when you use your turn signals? Do they work when you use them?

Yeah they all work just fine. I tried the flashers, signals, parks, etc. and everything works. The ding only comes on when the lights are actually turned on like for night driving, during daytime when they are not on and I use the signals, flashers, parks, etc. I get no ding only when the lights are on....

Swapping the headlights means after actually taking them out, simply taking both bulbs out and putting them in the new housing and putting it in the truck. There is nothing there other than that. I know you say it only happens at night when you have the lights on but what about at night with the lights off. Or what about in the day with the lights on? And is that only with the parking lights on or with the actual headlights on?

I changed the whole headlamp assemblies, bulbs and all. Now I used the analogy of lights on at night to paint a pic. If I have the lights ON and use the turn signals, I get the ding, day or night, also when the parks are on and I use the turn signals I get the ding again, day or night. When the lights and/or parks are OFF day OR night and use the turn signals I get no ding and lamp out warning.
