If you want a cummins get one...for the 18k you're offering your uncle you could find a nice slightly older 5.9 CTD. And by older I mean it would still be a 3rd gen ram.

well i finally sat down and talked. Im going to get the truck for $18500. Heres he specs: ram 1500 mega cab SLT hemi 4x4, cloth interior, the truck has never towed anything but it has the towing package. 6" fabtech lift with 20" wheels on 35" procomp xtreme all terrians, amp research power step, bed liner. The thing only has 21,000 miles. However, it needs two new front tires, since he was too busy to recheck the alignment after the lift, It has a dent on the underside of the doors that im going to line x over. Mod wise ill be limo tinting, debadging, system, and maybe gears after i see how much $ i have left
