Is the overhead MPG readout accurate?

i dont have the mpg display but if i did it would probably read 4 mpg higher then what im actually getting

Mine is usually within .1 or .2 of the calculated number. I reset it when I fill the tank. Usually stays around 17.5 unless I tow something or feel froggy and just haul ***

my is pretty much on even with a set of 315s under it, and that was before i got a programmer. Still on as far as mileage is concerend.

has to be an average, mine says i'm getting 12 city and the highest i've gotten highway was 14

Mine is about 1 mpg higher than when figure it out by hand, but I never usually reset the overhead.

Yeah, it's an overall average until you hit the reset button. No instant economy option like on a Ford.
