Dude Welcome!! Im 17 and I bought my 2006 Ram 1500 Hemi SLT for 18K. They are so much fun to drive. Just look around im sure you can find a 06 in your price range if you like the look of the 06. just do your homework when buying a car/truck

Good luck finding any hemi truck. I'd go for 06-08 because i like the way they look. Save up for fuel and MOD bug that you may get from us....

My younger brother just got his drivers license and he agreed the truck is a bit too much for him. I dont even want him to drive my truck at all. He'd rather drive lexus gs430. On the note, he does know his stuff when it comes to cars or truck.

I'm there with ya John, I spent $550 on a 1970 Chevy C10 with no bed and a 250 Straight six that I had to rebuild before I could drive it. I drove a truck with a Red cab and a $100 Blue Junkyard bed for 3 years,The best truck I ever had!

Welcome to the forum, I think everyone is steering you in the right direction. I got my 06 QCSB Hemi Ram for 17,900 with 45k on the odometer. The guy gave us a sweet deal on our trade in so I financed like $12,500 or something like that.

Chevy Blazers - I took my drivers test that I finally passed in a 2001 Blazer - haha that thing was interesting to drive, scared the owner of the car 1st time I drove it, then again he freaked if you went more than 1 MPH over... who owns something with power under the hood for the size, don't haul often and not play with the engine...not many

HEY OP --

WELCOME TO DF -- We will help you spend your money, and tell you where to spend it!!

Getting pulled over/tickets are lots of money, and depending on which state you live in graduated licenses are also a trap if you aren't careful...

Best of luck, I'm shopping for an 06-08 but I will have the money to play with, so I'm echoing everything that the boys are telling ya - 03-05 would be a good buy for ya on a 1st truck...

it was an 89 ford escort hatch back with 176k on the odometer. the doors didnt lock, the hatch back didnt latch down, and you could grab the ignition with no key in it and start it. the interior was thrashed, but it ran awesome. i couldnt get that thing to break down if i tried. (which i did try at one point)

oh, and i only spent 8k on my truck, and thats the most expensive vehicle i have ever purchased.
