They'll handle anything just about as well as you build them up to.. Here's some pics on a whoop section i went through. This is before my new lift, wheels and tires though, so all there was to it was a leveling kit and some procomp shocks.

Stuff'll break, it's inevitable, I think Murphy had a law about it or something. Creative's truck is a 2wd, so he's going to have more of an issue breaking suspension parts leaving the ground like he's hittin ramps on a BMX... Us 4wd drive guys are going to have more of an issue with driveline stuff breaking, axles/halfshafts, u-joints, maybe a transfer case. I've broken two axles, both the drivers side, go figure, but it's an easy enough fix, and Dodge covered the first one under warranty. Just use common sense and you'll lower the chances of breakin stuff or getting stuck... Maintenance maintenance maintenance!! Know your limits, know what you're getting into, take a buddy and have a tow strap if you're getting deep, a shovel, some wood, and some boots. Def get a winch if you're going alone, horror films start with people going out into the woods alone!! But, Ram's kick tail, and I love my 1500, and you love your 1500. So take it into the woods, get it dirty, clean it off, and repeat!!

mine has never had a problem, survived a few good jumps without anything breaking and can traverse some pretty hairy stuff. a big part of it is driver abilities, you have to know your vehicle.
