HID headlights
Do the headlights in these dodges have the flicker problem that I hear of? will I need to get the flicker relay harness that tricks the computer into thinking that the lights are running 55 watts instead of 35 watts? I didnt get it for the fog lights because I am almost certain they dont need it right?
oh, and also, does anyone know how what to do with the daytime running lights when running hid's? because I hear they cause problems.

I just got done installing my new kit.
My origional had a bad flickering problem so I ditched it and got a new one. I know people here have rigged theirs to work (relays, extra sockets, etc) but I'm not too good with wiring (haven't had too much expereince with it) so I just got a whole new kit that I knew would work. As for the fogs, the computer won't have a problem with them, hence no flickering.
Not sure about DRLs, but last time i checked only those in canada had them. mine doesn't, so not exactly sure. hope this helps!

If you get a kit, go to HID's by twiggy. He IS the man. All the flicker problems and DRL probs will be taken care of. The fogs you and run without a relay harness, they won't give you issues. The headlights depending on which year dodge ram you have you might have flicker. My 03' doesn't have DRL and i didn't need a relay or anything, but i got my kit from twiggy anyways cause he's warranty's everything. If you search also, you will find ALOT of **** on this topic, it's been covered a million times so that might help instead of having to wait for people to respond

my new kit is from twiggy. I have to say, its high quality. I rather spend the extra 100 bucks to get headlights that I know will work, because driving at night with no streetlights and flickering headlights is just an accident waiting to happen. the extra 100 bucks gives me peace of mind.

i have an 05 i had to do the same thing.... i think the company i got mine from called the stupid lil thing a "warning code eliminator" i was told to get the relay harness and after hookin it up, it didnt work... and that guy had an 06-08 model ram.... im startn to think that 02-05 need some sort of code eliminator and the 06-08s need the relay harness.... just a thot

My truck is from canada originally, so it has the DRL's, and I have the truck with the laramie package, so I have the computer that does like everything, so I would imagine mine has that feature that tells me if a light is out, I guess I could always just unplug one and check haha, that would probably tell me
