be careful about what you use to polish the aluminum wheels, they have a clear coat on them and if you use something abrasive like mothers or the like you'll mess them up
like i said i just got the truck tue.... do the wheels scratch that easy???? all i did was wash them and as i was drying them i noticed the same kind of scratch on each rim abot 3 inches long in a circular motion ????? looks bad

How did you wash the truck? With a mitt, or brush? My guess is that either way, you had a rock, or debris of some kind, on the brush or mitt. Are you sure there aren't other scratches on the body? Or, do you know for a fact that someone isn't messing around with your truck over night or whatever?

Are you absolutely positive there wasn't any debris on the drying towel? How did you apply the soap to the truck? Or, was it a drive thru style wash? The fact that all of your wheels have the same scratch pattern leads me to believe it had to come directly from the wash.
One more thing: does alloy mean they are aluminum or chrome? If they're chrome, a simple chrome polish could blend the scratches in with the surrounding metal.
