My old man has a superchip tuner for his 07...i also have an 07 same everything but mine is laramie his is sport. He baught the SUPERCHIPS tuner and has his truck programmed.

Can I tune my truck with it?
What will happen?
I know I will not be able to go back to stock settings...but...if I ever do end up buying a tuner...can I program my truck with the tuner I decide to buy?

 

You can tune two trucks with one tuner. Just not at the same time.

 

Just tried it...said "Locked mis-matched VIN". So im pretty sure ill have to buy my own...probably gonna go with diablo.

if your Dads truck is tuned with the tuner you have to return it to stock and then you can tune yours. Like Frog said, you can't do 2 trucks at the same time.

 

Diablo marrys to the vehicle that you use it on first. It memorizes the VIN # and compares it to see if its a match. so you can only put it on 1 vehicle so im sure super chips is the same way.

 

Only 1 vehicle at a time.

 

Can't make any money if they don't limit them to one vehicle at a time
