Those are some really long sentences! I got a headache from reading that.

You might have a loose ground somewhere or a faulty switch.

Glitch in the PCM. You might try unhooking the battery for about 1/2 hour and see if it helps any.

Default Parking lights stay on Ram 1500 2004

I have the same issue. Suddenly, one day the parking lights came on, and will not go off. The switch does nothing, the start the engine, play with the switch, etc. does nothing.

What I did was pull the fuse to turn them off, then put it back in, and pulled the relay to turn them off. Now, when I drive at night, I have the relay laying in the ashtray, and I install it to drive, and remove it when parked.

All connectors to the fuse box were checked and clean. PCM?

Default Found problem

My truck was doing the same thing. Fuse to trailer light plug #33 pulled and problem stopped. I will repost with fix on plug soon.

Default Problem sort of resolved

Hi there pulled fuses one by one until i hit #33. It goes to the trailer hitch wiring harness. The lights went out.Parking are all back to normal. I have a snowplow with a control module that switches the lights from truck to plow and back that i replaced but still no luck and replaced the headlight switch too still nothing until i pulled that fuse. My lights were staying on with truck off and headlight switch off but half bright on parking circuit only. if it turned the headlight switch to park they would go full brightness. The headlights through all of this were not affected just parking and top cab Lights. My truck is a 2004 Dodge Ram 4x4 5.7 Hemi 2500HD. Standard cab and bed.

Sounds like you guys might be having issues with the PDC. Also might want to check the relays in the PDC also, I believe the relays are fired by the PDC, maybe they're getting worn out. Try switching a couple of them around with the ones that are used for the lights.
