I recently purchased my truck from a dealership in Rhode Island (I dont recommend) but they gave me the keys but not a Key Fob. And on the windows sticker it says Remote keyless entry, so they purchased a new Key fob for me, but my question is how do I really know that my truck is equipped with a Keyless entry transmitter? Cause I dont want to go to the dealership to get it programmed and look stupid cause I dont have a transmitter or whatever...

 

Call the dealership with the VIN and they can tell you if it is factory equipped.

 

Chances are if you have electric locks then you do have RKE.

Should have made them get two of them. It came with 2 and you need two to program a 3rd (spare) yourself or you will have to pay a dealer for another one to be programmed.
