Problem - Starts fine, then stalls
My '07 1500 5.7L has run great since I purchased it over 1 year ago. I have not had a single problem until this morning.
I get in, turn the key, and it fires right up, then dies. I've never had this happen before. Crank it again, starts fine, dies. Tried it 3 times. Same results. When it dies (stalls), the "Check Gauges" light is on, but that's it. It started and cranked completely normal. I even tried to hit the gas (which I never do when starting) to get the RPMs up, and I made it to 2k before it died.
I replaced the spark plugs and cleaned the throttle body about 2 months ago (900 miles ago) and everything worked great until this morning.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Ugh.... ok... what's the best way to test this hypothesis. I know the filter and pump are in the gas tank. Should I just attempt to pull the tank (I really don't know what's involved in that process yet) and check the screen? I really hate to pull the tank, clean the screen, get it all back together, only to find out that the pump is shot.

Ouch.... $200 for fuel pump. So I have never used the warranty on this truck. I believe it is still under the 3 yr 36k mile warranty (although just barely). Since it's stuck in my driveway, would Dodge pay a towtruck to come get it and check it out? Again, if it's just the filter, then I'm sure I would end up paying for it. If it's the pump, it should be covered under warranty, right?

Yes it would die in park. I could start it and it would stall. I gave it some gas while starting with my foot on the brake and I could keep it running. Check Gauges light comes on, and it keeps stalling any time I stop at a light. I ended up coasting into the dealer - they had to replace the trans.
