v6 to hemi
not worth it at all.
the motor would cost ya more than the difference between the value of your truck and a a similar truck with the hemi. is yoru current truck stick? if so, then add a tranny to it...and whatever work/parts it would take to make it work with existing shifter setup. ecu won't be cheap, nor will the wiring harness if you need one. fuel lines/coils. new mounts. can our radiator cool the hemi?
in the end you're left with the same v6 looking truck, with a hemi in it, which isn't THAT fast...expecially cause throwing a hemi in it would cost more than throwing a 460 in it...this new hemi crap is over rated.

Why "swap" an engine that was designed for your truck anyway?
Why not be a real man and swap a built 4BTA Cummins in there? Big turbo, big injectors, major intercooling...250 HP and 450 FT-LB. Matte black 4" straight pipe behind the passenger side cab. NV4500 trans. Billowing clouds of half burnt diesel. Screaming compressor whine. And you could be the only guy with a 4 cylinder half ton in town. Hemi's are all good, but they are to Dodge what the 350 Chevy / 350 Turbo is unimaginative hotrodders.

^^
exactly...the hemi isn't worth swapping. is the hemi 1500 fast? NO. is it fast in comparison to our v6? YES.
SO, after like $15,000, you'll have a truck that keeps up with most of the cars on the street.
