You can't use a gear puller because there isn't anything for the arms to securely grab on to, that'd be pretty unsafe. You'll be just fine using a ball joint tool(OTC) or a big C-clamp though. Taking the old keys out there isn't a ton of pressure, but when you're installing the new ones there it takes a bit more muscle to get em in place.

If you(or anyone else is interested), I have the shock extension brackets that came with my leveling kit. I also have a leveling kit(keys) and 4 rough country shocks(for 2-4" of lift). I took it all off when I installed my lift kit, so if anyone is looking for something send me a PM.

Just dont torque your t-bars to max and you should be fine, I cranked 1 7/8"s out of mine and it truely does ride better than stock, it makes it just ride on stiffness instead of to soft like they come stock. I might just take you up on that deal josh just for that extra bit of lift...

I've heard people on both sides of the argument that ahd valid points... Some say the crank the bars and the truck rides horrible, others say it's better. I know after I cranked mine I would hit a bump and the truck would get real funky, seemed as though the shock ran out of room to play. So I got the lift kit that had the shock extension brackets, then went ahead and got extended shocks. Man, what a difference... If I didn't get a lift kit because of my tires I'm sure that set up would've lasted for a long time.

Here's the leveling kit and shocks...

Well I got it did... I cranked em and got about 2 1/2" out of it.
And I'll be honest here, I really think it does ride a little bit better, I drive on the WORST highway in the U.S. and before my truck would bounce everywhere. Now it doesn't do that, it's like the shocks actually keep the tires on the road. Thanks everybody on your inputs about this.

When I cranked my torsion bars, my ride quality was pretty horrible. Come to find out I needed to get longer shocks. I went to Predator Off Road in Colorado Springs and they did some research for me and set me up with some Rancho 9000 shocks. Once those shocks were on, my truck's ride improved so much. If I had to do it all over again I would go the same route as I did. Good Luck.
