Default Door lock cylinder replacement

Thanks to some a-holes in the area the cylinder on my drivers side is all jacked up. They couldn't get in that way so they bent back the door handle and popped the lock. They peeled the column but couldn't get it started. Luckly they didnt mess the ignition cylinder up too bad, but can feel the difference when putting the key in.

Anyway... how easy is it to replace the door cylinder and am I going to have to change both sides out or is there a way to get a cylinder with the same key as I have now?

Thanks,
Chris

Any locksmith can rekey the new cylinder to match the original key. You should be able to just remove the door panel to remove the handle assembly to replace the lock cylinder.

Oh, and welcome to the forum.

If you take your door skin off you can see up in there and how to take out the handle and cylinder. But overall it looks like time for you to get an alarm.
