I have one thing to add to all this. If your opinion is most, some, all or none of the dealers and salesmen are douche bags why even bother going to them? I think the main reason many are pissy about dealing with dealerships and dealers is because you realize you got screwed and allowed it to happen, but in your reality it somehow makes it easier to moan, groan, gripe and complain and become the victim. I have bought cars from dealerships before, one was a great experience and was a great deal, the latest was a nightmare but after I signed the papers and already knew my payments I realized I jumped the gun and let myself be had and raped severely, but that was my own doing, needless to say, I was able to take it back 3 days later and got my trade in back but was a hard thing to accomplish but Igot it done. So next time you decide to get screwed and want people to feel sorry for you, take it up with yourself and say I phucked myself and have no one to blame but myself. Accept responsibility for your actions and reap the rewards or reprocusions and by all means STFU already!!!! Of course thats just MY opinion.

 

Sorry to hear you got **** raped at the dealer. THAT is why I hate dealers. Ol' Honest Doc loves guys like you. He rapes you, without lube, and then blames YOU for it. And you go along with it and tell every one else to STFU.... Sounds like Stockholm Syndrome to me. You're lucky he didn't make you live in his backyard encampment for 20 years.

 

My point wasnt that i got raped and was upset, my point was that it was my fault for signing the dotted line knowing full well what the deal was, but I was able to rectify my mistake and was able to get out of the deal so Iwasn't technically screwed just a bit over zealous and retarded for a moment. I mostly was saying that it comes down to You as the buyer, You are the sole person responsible for getting done dirty or done right. Ive been on both sides of that fence and won't put blame on anyone but myself. Thats what I was trying to accomplish, make those bad mouthers and complainers see that they need to look before they leap and blame themselves if their buying experience was bad. Who says you have to take a dirty deal, you can always walk away and go elsewhere. Some dealers are shady some are not, why go and put percents and personal accounts out there to make ones point of view or opinion be the only way to look at it. Shyt happens and doesnt happen.

If you read... He never said the dealership screwed him... He is an educated person that realized he could get a better deal for what ever reason... Last time I looked Profit was not a dirty word. I wont say that every Dealership is perfect... I will say that I will not judge every dealership based on one experience or 2 experiences I hear about... If a Dealership sells 200 cars a month that is 2400 cars a year... Out of those I would say 5-10 are high profit or as you call them Rape deals... Even at 10 it is 5%... I would say 75 are at invoice or less... Get out of the past and welcome to the present where all of the information is available to the consumer.

Rubber- Grow up! You have nothing to base your estimates off of and you comments are equivalent to the same things that racist people say. I dont need proof! I dont need to justify myself! whaaaa whaaaa whaaaa Quit your crying and realize that to judge a group based on your limited experience makes you no better than a skin head or Hitler.
All of you that thought it was funny because he is a regular that let loose on someone, well you are no different than him. Maybe if you were to open your eyes you would realize having a person with experience in the Dealership would benefit you on warranty issues or question. maybe help get a better deal. but no you would rather try to bash them. I am glad my other forum is not like this one

Every dealership i have been to has tried to lie to me to sell a car. And I have called them out on it. I called their bluff and got my interest rate dropped 7%. They said I had horrible credit and I didn't. I knew my stiuation going in. Dont allow yourself to be screwed is all you can do. Maybe you will get lucky and up going to a lot with people like Doc. Maybe find sme who ishonest. You never know. Or hell maybe we can all just find other forums that arent like this one who knows?
