Whats the additive called they put in the rear end to stop the shimmy (for lack of a better word) when making a turn? 2003 Ram

i think they call it friction modifier additive. did you change the fluid without adding the friction modifier? or has it just started doing it out of the blue?? if so, you should probably change the fluid and check out the rear...

Yes, it's friction modifier and should be added every 30k miles when you change the diff fluid, 15k if you tow or haul...
