If you want to have fun do some burnouts in the grass and see how many drainage ditches you dig one or two,if you want to be practical call the dealer or jack it up as previously mentioned.

I know with my tires and LSD there is little to no peeling going on when I hammer it down, just rapid foward progress.

My 3.55 with LSD will leave two parallel stripes for twenty feet or so. To the OP: put one wheel on wet grass, sand, gravel, whatever and the other on dry pavement. Goose it (don't punch it). If it goes, it's LSD. If the wheel on the slippery stuff spins, it's a peg-leg.

Dude, if your gonna change the fluid anyway, crack the pumpkin and look. It's real easy to tell an open carrier from one with a LSD in it!!!

I'm with Hammer in a big way on this one!
I for one, would DEFINATELY and EVERY time open up a stock LSD pumpkin when it was fluid change time.
This way, I could inspect to see if the dreaded clip problems were happening.

MikeHTally............that's awesome if you can leave two big black tyre stripes like that.
My 03 with 3:55's just grunts and pulls very fast with no marks or squeeling.
In a funny way, I'm kinda' dissapointes LOL.
