Is it a functional scoop or just there for looks? Kind of just looks like he stuck the scoop on.
Post a pic of your truck so we can see what it looks like and see if that makes a difference. I like the look of it, may need a little work to get it looking just right but if its functional, I'd probably take it.

If you had a pro street look with it lowered and tubbed out with huge back slicks it would look OK, but like already said, looks like a stick-on. And its obvious by the comment made in the ad, even the posting owner got tired of it after a few years...

I went for the deal at the moment when I got my hood for $200... although function over form is usually my way. I was really just trying to be different from all the others and so far so good since I havent seen another cowl hood like mine on here yet, or as I drive around. All I see is stock and SRT-10 hoods.
But you know the more I think about it if that hood was functional and the moulding of the scoop to the hood was a good job, I can imagine a truck built around that kind of look. Some Weld drag wheels, skinnier/smaller up front and a big old fat juicy tire under the rear with a 2/4 drop, that hood, a ridiculously big aluminum racing wing for the bed cover and a couple of 4" chrome exhaust tips coming out just in front of each rear wheel. And to finish it off a paint job mimicking the looks of a pro-dragster.
