Default Head Gasket update

so I got a call from the dealer today- even though I'm over my miles for my warranty and the warranty doesn't even actually cover a blown head gasket they're going to 'take care of it for me.'

i'm having the shop where its at now wash it and steam clean the engine and everything so it'll be nice a pretty (aka mud free) when it gets to the dealership.

both shops have now told me that my 4wheeling adventure had nothing to do with the blown head gasket- but that if the dealership sees the mud- they might try to back out.

now i'm just still praying its just the head gasket and that my heads aren't cracked

They'll "take care of you" for how much? Did they give you any estimates?

Good news!
Actually I seen a poster on here yesterdy that said they had the same problem with their 4.7L and it turned out to be a clogged radiator. No cracked heads...etc.. You may even be able to find by going back to yesterdays posts???

Anyways, i bet your like a kid in a candy store again...lol

Update us when they fix it.

I asumed you meant they were going to over the costs of the repair? Did i not understand correctly?

I just bought my 2002 and the warranty that came with my truck sounds similar to hers. It is a 1,000 mile 1 month warranty but it is only for 50% of parts and labor and the other 50% is my responsibility.
