The ported 5.7L heads are actually tamed to flow as little as possible down low which improves low end...so they say. I believe them since they designed the port job...lol
The towing cams all are about the same as far as power levels. The heads are 30rwhp gain regardless of towing cam or strip cam. The towing can is good for 30rwhp on top and around 20-25ft/lbs on the lower end. So adding near 60rwhp and 40ish ft/lbs isn't too bad over the stock 345/375. I'm guessing dyno numbers would look like 300rwhp/310ft/lbs
Chevy SS who.....lol

There's no need to reinvent the wheel here. If you want to tow at all, turbo AND blower are OUT. They both suck for towing.

If you can do the work yourself, you can do a cam and heads for around $2k.

Check here for heads- http://www.inertiamotorsports.com/cylinderheads.html
If I had the $$$ I'd be doing thier performance heads along with thier Spartan cam to get that 20rwhp +/- extra, but for now though its just the cam.

Well I dont do alot of towing, about once or twice a month. The most I will tow is a car. The heads I seen before were 1600 each. So 1400 for a pair is much better. I dont think I want a towing cam, for as little as I do. How much does it help with MGP keeping in mind that you can keep your foot off the floor?

one thing that I don't know unless I missed it..do you have a regular cab or quadcab...this is a factor when choosing a cam.... I would talk to Stu at Inertia..tellim what you have in mods now, mods your plannin to do..and what you want that cam to do...I went with the Inertia Spartan cam and Inertia BV heads for my qc (after talkin to Stu)...it is a great daily driver, street racer (not that I do any..hehe), 1/8th and 1/4 miler and tows my wakeboard boat just fine..

I have a qc 4x4. What did that setup cost you? Have you gotten your truck dynoed after the swap?
