Default how to tell if you have rear wheel or all wheel anti lock

ok i'm fairly certain mine is just rear anti lock because if i remember from when i ordered it you had to get the electronic stability progamming for all wheel anti lock and i didn't want that so i didn't. But I can't remember and i'm just wondering

from standard equip on my window sticker it says
4 wheel disc Rr anti-lock brakes

to me that means that it's rear wheel but i'm not sure. i googled and can't find anything but i also looked and nothing in the opt. equipment section of the sticker shows all wheel so i'm fairly certain i was right.

I think you just have the rear wheel anti-lock brakes. I have the four wheel anti-lock brakes, and on my window sticker, it has the "4 wheel disc brakes with rear wheel anti-lock" under the standard features. But under the optional equipment, it says " Anti-lock 4 wheel disc brakes--$495."

Easy to tell... go find an empty stretch of road, run up to about 40mph and stomp on the brakes, if your front wheels lock up, you only have rear ABS.

You only have rear wheel abs. It was only available with the stability package.
In 09 4 wheel abs went standard on all models, as it should have been all along. Ford and GM have had 4wABS for a long time.

Does anyone know how hard it is to retro fit a 2007 1500 to add 4 wheel ABS? Currently only have 2 wheel but would like 4 wheel ABS. I've tried to do some searches on here but have come up empty.

4 wheel abs was a option on a 06 1500 Ram, 4 wheel abs was standard on the 06 2500 Ram.
I hate abs, Pulled out the fuse, ABS breakes take longer to stop, its designed for drivers who panic, stear and brake at the same time.

Ford, mercury had optional abs brakes on the 1973 Ford LTD, Mercury Meteor!!!

Original thread ended back in 9-12-09 and was about LSDs. Then it got restarted in 11-24-10 about ABS?

These are two totally different issues with two totally different questions from two different people.

Please start you own thread if you have issues. That way people dont get upset from you squatting in their thread and you will get more help
