Default Looking For Strong 10 ply 20" Tires

I have had my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 for a little over a year and am needing some new tires. It came with the stock 20" wheels and wrangler tires, and I have had nothing but flats at least every week for the past year. I hate to think what I spent getting the flats fixed at $12 each. My question is does anybody make a 20" tire that is stronger than 4 ply? From what I am told and see no one does. My truck takes a 275/60/R20 but I dont have much choice on tires. I wanted to get some hummer tires since they are strong and cheep, but then found out all the mods I would have to do. Any thought or suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks

Hummer tires? Well I was going to suggest the BGF AT's, they are a good strong tire. I had them on my jeep, and rock crawled all over the place, and never punctured tire. They are a bit pricey though. I wonder if the cooper zeons are 10 ply, seems to be a popular vote around here...

Almost every tire made by Interco has a 10 ply rating...

I got a buddy with the TrXus MTs, a bit harsh on the pavement, but your not going to find a 10 ply tire that's not. He swears by them.

They are available in a 33x12.5x20 which will fit your truck...

Since its my daily driver I would like to stick with the stock tire size after think about it. The last thing I need is lower gas mileage. I am looking at the Cooper Zeon, they are $178 each, but only a 4 ply again. Cooper told me they do not make a higher ply tire in the 20 in. They do offer the Discoverer H/T that is a little heaver tire for extra loads, but it looks like a road only tire to me.

Have you considered going down to a smaller rim? They'd be much easier to find 10ply tires in. But just so you know, 33x12.5x20 aren't bigger than stock, just a little wider.

Does anybody know about the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor tires? I see mixed reviews on them, but they seem to be a tougher tire with a kevlar lining.

My local Goodyear dealer just called me back and told me about the Wrangler AT/S in a 275/65/20 10ply for $187 each. This may be what I have been looking for, I see some bad reviews, but they all talk about a 4ply tire and not the 10ply I would buy. Let me know if any of you have these. I read a statment from one guy that said they are the only tires he has ever had last over 50k and he drives gravel roads, off road, pastures, etc every day and they last him 100k!!! Sounds great, if they are really that good.
