Default Tires

My truck is 2wd so I'm not gonna go out and buy a set of $400 a piece tires. I have Toyo Open Country H/T's right now and they are beyond needing replaced. What's a good tire to look at? I need to stay below the $200 mark and preferably below $150. I want to still be able to have a little fun in the mud and not have to call my Ford driving friend to pull me out of a mud hole. I have the factory 17" rims. Links and prices would be nice. Give me some suggestions.

Nitto Terra Grapplers, run you about $180 a tire, or Cooper Zeon LTZs, not sure about the cost of those.

Will the cooper's fit on my stock wheels? Also I don't have a clue what size tires I need. I don't understand what these sizes mean. This is the smallest Cooper Zeon I have found can anyone explain what this sizing means 275/45R20 110S XL.

275/45/R20 Decoded:

the first number is the width in millimeters, so 275 millimeters wide
the second number is the side aspect ratio, so 45% of the width high
R indicates radial construction
20 is the rim size, so 20 inch rim

I could have sworn they made Zeon LTZ for 17s now, but I can only find em for 20s.

My Terra Grapplers are 295/70/R17 and they're 33" tall by 12" wide

Found some 265/70/R17s for $121 31.5" tall by 10.7" wide

Would those babies fit on my truck? Mine is a freakin low rider. Lol I think the one's on it now are 26"s and they almost take up the entire front wheel well.

Those don't look like 26 inch tall tires, but if you're worried about fitment, they make a 245/70R17s that are 29.5 inches tall. Go out and look at the size on your tires, I really don't think they're that small.

Well not really a low rider but with the side runner's it looks like it has a 6 inch drop. But when those come off mud you better worry.

They are 30.5" so 31" would fit no problem at all. I would need to level it out to fit 33" under there.
